Matt Davis
Matt used to work in a bank. He spent most of his time trying to suppress his creative urges with the gridlines of spreadsheets.
Those urges thankfully became too strong and, armed with a broken Panasonic point and shoot, he ditched his prized collection of suits and started taking photographs for a living. Combining his love of travel and photography Matt explored the corners of the earth developing his brand of street reportage, culminating in his most recent project in Cuba which brought together years of experimentation into a cohesive and distinctive style.
His work has always been well received by the industry, consistently attracting awards from the likes of The AOP, SUN Awards, International Color Awards and The Times. Matt lives and breathes photography and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. He does everything humanly conceivable to achieve the best possible image and enjoys every second of it.
